Timberline Golf Course


Just across the road is a very Beautiful and Challenging Golf Course, Timberline Golf Course. This is a 9 hole, 36 Par Course, butted against Targee Nationsl Forest. This makes for a Fun and Challenging Golf Course.


In the Spring and Summer the Fairways are lined with Wildflowers, which carpet the floor of the Aspens and Lodge Pole Pines with vivid color. It is also very common being tucked in next to Targhee National Forest, to see Wildlife such as Moose, Fox, Deer and Sandhill Crane.
Being on the boarder of Yellowstone and the Tetons, its easy to Play around of Golf, in the AM and then go touring for the rest of the day.(or visa-versa)


Timberline Golf Course is being rated this Spring by the Idaho Golf Association, and of all the Golf Courses I've played, this is the most scenic.
